The heart of the textile sector beats at the Bursa Textile Show Fair.

The Bursa Textile Show Fair, which contributes to the foreign trade volume in the textile sector, one of the locomotive sectors of the Turkish economy, has ended. The Bursa Textile Show Fair, held at the Bursa International Fair Center, was attended by more than 80 companies in 2 separate halls. In addition to trend areas and inspiring seminars, participants were offered the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in the sector.

Buyers from Nearly 40 Countries Came
Within the scope of the Clothing Fabric UR-GE projects carried out under the leadership of BTSO, foreign business professionals conducted business meetings with companies from Bursa. Visitors from all over the world, including Europe, Africa, Turkish Republics, and the Middle East, visited the fair.

"We Gained Customers from Different Geographies"
Özlem Özel, Marketing Director of Marsala Textile, who participated in the Bursa Textile Show Fair for the second time, stated that they encountered visitor density beyond their expectations at the fair. Özel said, "We export 80% of our production. We are satisfied with the fair as a company. We had meetings with visitors from different countries such as Russia, Germany, Spain, and England for 3 days.”

"I Established Business Connections from Africa"
Bahadır Yaşbey from Melba Textile said that they participated in the fair for the first time. Stating that the area and atmosphere of the fair were nicely prepared, Yaşbey said, "We received intense interest from foreign buyers at the fair. I believe that the fair will reach a better point in the future. This year, especially buyers from Russia, Belarus, and Jordan visited us. We also received orders. It was a positive fair for us."

İsmail Hasırcı from Tende Tekstil, stating that they have participated as exhibitors since the first year the fair was organized, said, "Especially this year, we have established connections with many companies, mainly from Europe and the Balkans. The most important thing for us is networking. In this regard, Bursa Textile Show offers us great opportunities."

Anton Frans, one of the designers of Tonickx, an important textile company in Belgium, said, "We have been buying products from Turkey for a long time. We have many companies we collaborate with in Bursa. I came to Bursa for the second time. This fair is very important for us because we can see all the companies we work with in the same place."

"The Quality of the Products is Top-notch"
Menna Shalaby, a representative of an Egyptian company who said she would place orders for linen and woven fabrics at the Bursa Textile Show Fair, stated, "There are companies from every corner of the world at the fair. The quality of the fabrics is very good in Bursa." Antonina Pasichnyk from Promo Tex, a company operating in Ukraine, said she wanted her fabric preferences for women's clothing production to be from Bursa and mentioned that she established new business connections at the fair. The fair, organized by KFA Fairs AŞ, a subsidiary of BTSO, is supported by the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB, and UTİB.
